Hi, friends! I want to share with you why I chose this verse for the Summer Box. The water has been a balm for anxiety and overwhelm my entire life—it’s one of the places I experience God’s peace the most. From childhood trips to the beach after my first days of kindergarten to hard motherhood moments driving out to the lake (and hoping my then toddler would fall asleep in his carseat), I’ve always found myself breathing easier near the water. But more than the water itself, it’s what it represents. Throughout the Bible, water points to a God who is near, in control, and always with us—leading us beside quiet waters, calming the storms, and filling us with living water through His Spirit. My prayer is that these fun, sea-inspired essentials would serve as gentle reminders this summer of God’s presence and peace in your life. He cares for you!
